Dr. Rhee has been a practicing chiropractor since 2006 and served as the official team chiropractor of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers from 2015 to 2018.
Dr. Tommy Rhee, a sports chiropractor and pioneer in regenerative wellness, has dedicated over three years to the development of RheeGen®. Recognizing the limitations and risks of injection-based stem cell therapies, Dr. Rhee envisioned a safer, more accessible alternative — one that could deliver the healing power of regenerative medicine without using live cells or invasive procedures.
Through rigorous research and clinical innovation, he brought RheeGen® to life as the first-of-its-kind topical therapy built entirely on a cell-free platform. Dr Rhee’s Cell-Free Regenerative Medicine breakthrough represents a major step forward in non-invasive, science-backed recovery — changing the way we think about healing.
Dr. Rhee is also the published author of The Future of Regenerative Medicine: Unlocking the Potential of Topical Stem Cell Therapy, in which he delves into the groundbreaking advancements in topical regenerative treatments and their transformative impact on modern medicine. His book offers a comprehensive exploration of the science behind topical stem cell applications, highlighting their potential to revolutionize regenerative care and enhance healing and recovery in clinical practice.
Dr. Rhee has also created many firsts in the Tampa Bay area.
He was the first Master Provider of ART (Active Release Techniques) in 2008, the first to bring Exercise With Oxygen Therapy (EWOT) in 2012, the first to bring WholeBody Cryotherapy in 2015, the first to bring PiezoWave Shockwave therapy in 2016, and finally, he was the first to bring CryoFos in 2018.
His office in Tampa uses the latest cutting-edge techniques and modalities to provide a very unique approach to fast recovery.

Dr. Rhee has also treated Olympians, Ironman Triathletes, Body Builders, NFL/NBA/NHL/MLB/PGA/LPGA Players, AVP Professional Beach Volleyball Players, WWE/TNA Athletes, Professional Tennis Players, Professional Boxers, Extreme Sports athletes, Professional MMA/UFC/Jujitsu Fighters, Crossfit Enthusiasts, Water Polo Players, Soccer Players, and even famous actors and other celebrities from time to time.
In 2010, Dr. Rhee was the Active Release Techniques Master Practitioner for Walter Dix, a well-known American Track and Field Olympian. Prior to being under Dr. Rhee’s care, Mr. Dix had been struggling with a plethora of injuries. The main goal was for Mr. Dix to be injury-free during the World Championship in 2011.
While Mr. Dix was also under the careful training of Coach Rey Robinson, Dr. Rhee helped Mr. Dix earn 1st place in both the 100-meter and 200-meter run at the USA Track and Field Championship (Eugene, Oregon). Also in 2011, at the World Championship in Daegu, South Korea, Dr. Rhee traveled with Mr. Dix who received two silver medals in the Korean 100- meter and 200-meter races.
Most importantly, Walter Dix remained injury-free throughout every win of 2011. He continued to treat under Dr. Rhee’s care to prepare for the 2016 Olympics.
Back in 2008, Dr. Rhee moved back to Tampa to open his Florida practice. Coming from California, he brought with him a new West Coast approach to chiropractic care.
Many Tampa residents, after being treated by Dr. Rhee, admit to Dr. Rhee being a one-of-a-kind doctor with incredibly unique approaches they have never seen or felt before. It became a major goal of his to continue that legacy in the Tampa Bay area.
